Nothing ruins the illusion of a natural looking dye job more that a strip of gray roots running down your hair part like a skunk stripe. If like me you are too cheap to go running to the salon every few weeks to get your roots dyed and you just want to instantly and temporarily hide your roots, you are going to love Cover your gray, a 2 in 1 hair color touch up.
This brush on root touch up has two brushes, a wand and sponge tip applicator. You are supposed to use the sponge tip for root application and the mascara wand to conceal long streaks of gray hair. I prefer to use the mascara wand for my root touch up and I was very happy with the results. I applied the medium brown shade to my roots and the gray instantly disappeared. The color looked so natural it blended in with my current hair color. I applied Cover your gray in the morning and even after a long day that included walking and hiking up hundreds of steps and sweating it out on one of the hottest days of the year, my hair color still looked fresh and didn't run. The rest of me may have looked like a wet rag, but my hair color touch up looked great.
